01 Initial Consultation
We meet with you onsite to discuss what you would like to achieve for your project, talk with you about your ideas, offer advice for your consideration, discuss budget and the next steps in our process, we provide a total solution to getting your project from idea to reality. A Preliminary Agreement covering the development of the project will be provided to you should you wish to proceed to the next step. Our initial consult is at no cost to you.(What if I already have my Structural Design?)
02 Site Inspection
This is when we take your ideas and bring them to life. We also carry out a complete site inspection detailing the existing elements of the home and talk to you about your desired project specifications.
03 Costs and Inclusions
We will prepare an estimated construction cost based on your plans, your desired specifications and the existing elements of the home. We will work with you to deliver your goals for your renovation project being mindful of your budget. We complete structural design and energy efficiency reporting in order to provide you with a fixed price quote for your project.
04 Contracts
We present our fixed price quote and final documentation, which includes a residential building contract, to be signed by both parties. We walk you through the Contract so you have a clear understanding of how it works. Upon signing the contract a deposit will need to be paid. A contract guides us through the process, it is equally important to the success of any building project.
05 Final Planning
Once our Contract is in place we will proceed with finalising your Building Approval, paying required levies and completing your projects insurance. Your building approval is generally rolled out within 48 hours of this process being completed.
06 Construction
This is when it gets exciting and we can get started. We strive to give our clientsfull disclosure of the building process. Open communication directly with the builder along with regular walk throughs are all part of the service, keeping you up to date with project scheduling, milestones reached, scheduled selections meetings and job progress photos. You will also have access to your project 24/7 through our online portal.
07 Handover
Congratulations! Your renovation is done. We complete a final walkthrough withyou, we aim to be defect free but should there be anything that needs attendingto, we do this straight away. Then it’s time to move in and enjoy your newly renovated home.
08 After care
Have peace of mind knowing your renovation comes with a 12 month non- structural warranty period and a 6 year and 6 months Structural Warranty. Call us at any time we are always here.
It is important to understand that the builder cannot provide you with a fixed price quote for your project until they have a full set of documentation, this includes soil testing and structural design, project specifications and energy efficient reporting.
