House Renovation Mitchelton Project

Open Plan Living with Spectacular Views

Our clients wanted to create open plan living to capture the amazing views and serenity they have, living high on the hill at Mitchelton.

We undertook a complete renovation of the homes upper floor, creating open plan living throughout and extending the master bedroom adding a walk in robe, ensuite, powder room and storage area.

The upper level deck overlooks Morton Island and the Glass House Mountains, the kitchen flows to a patio area at the front entry, and overlooking the pool to allow for great family entertaining.

 We wanted to create a clean  minimalist  look that was both beautiful and functional for our clients who love to enjoy the views and entertain. We opened  up the entry and main living area to take advantage of the high ceilings and the sweeping views from every angle, and maintained unobstructed views by using frameless glass balustrade to the stair void and semi-frameless glass balustrade to the deck.

The kitchen was designed to take advantage of both the pool and the rear island views.  Adding a bifold window and timber servery allows for resort style living at the front of the property, whilst the addition of  large stacker doors off the deck  brings the outside in.

The ensuite has floor to ceiling tiling with a floating vanity and his and hers basins, the dual shaving cabinets provide ample storage,  the floor tiles add an element of interest with popping  colour  and a striking design to offset the clean lines of the white tiles and frameless glass.

This home is great for entertaining with family and friends and a wonderful place for our clients to relax and enjoy after a demanding days work! Who wouldn't want to kick back here?
