Ensuite and Lift Carindale Project

Seamless accessibility. Timeless design.

Internal Lift & Accessible Ensuite

This project brings together thoughtful accessibility and refined design, delivering a sophisticated internal lift and a beautifully appointed ensuite tailored for ease of use—without compromising on style.

A Space Designed for Living

The ensuite has been carefully designed to support wheelchair accessibility while maintaining a clean, modern, and timeless aesthetic. Every element has been considered to ensure comfort, functionality, and visual appeal coexist effortlessly.

At the heart of the space is a stunning double vanity, featuring a premium Caesarstone top, matching fascia, and splashback for a cohesive, high-end finish. Shaker profile drawers paired with brushed nickel handles introduce a subtle layer of classic detailing, while providing practical, everyday storage.

Refined Features & Finishes

Full-height tiling throughout the ensuite enhances the sense of space and creates a sleek, low-maintenance finish. A standout feature is the wall-to-wall recessed niche, complete with integrated LED strip lighting—perfectly balancing practicality with a soft ambient glow.

The space is further elevated with:

  • Elegant wall lights for layered lighting

  • Dual mirrored shaving cabinets for added convenience

  • Separate full-height cabinetry, ensuring ample and accessible storage

Comfort Meets Functionality

Designed with both luxury and usability in mind, the ensuite includes:

  • An in-wall toilet suite for a streamlined look

  • Heated towel rails for everyday comfort

  • Brushed nickel tapware throughout, creating a consistent and refined palette

The oversized shower is a true highlight—featuring dual wall-mounted shower heads and an overhead rain shower, offering both practicality and a spa-like experience.

Accessible Living Without Compromise

A key component of this project is the integration of a glass internal lift, providing effortless movement between floors. The lift has been thoughtfully incorporated into the home’s design, ensuring it enhances both accessibility and the overall architectural aesthetic.

This project is a testament to how accessible design can be executed with elegance—delivering a space that is not only highly functional, but also beautifully crafted for modern living.
