We recently (in July 2020) engaged Urban Scene to renovate our laundry which was over 20 years old. The finished job was an absolutely amazing finish and an incredible transformation. From the very start of the process in getting the quote to start of the build, Jason and Chantal were highly professional in all aspects of the work we were undertaking. During the process Chantal always kept us updated on which trade was to be coming in on certain days and what time they would be there, and this was consistent throughout the build. From the start nothing was an issue for Jason to achieve no matter what we threw at him. Both Jason and Chantal were fantastic to work with and if you are thinking of renovating I would highly recommend Urban Scene Construction to anybody and we are more than happy with our finished product. Modern Laundry Makeover
Our clients wanted to make over their tired laundry which hadn't been touched for more than 20 years
The existing space was large but felt cluttered and not practical, the current layout offer limited storage, bench space and flow. It was important that we maintained the open space but achieved a workspace that was nice to be in as well as offer the practically required for the family.
By changing the layout and relocating the hot water system outside we were able to create a laundry that has plenty of storage, is extremely functional as well as achieving a light open and airy feel that everyone wants when in a laundry . We incorporated a concealed hanging rail and a laundry basket to assist with decluttering the space whilst in use providing practically in a neat and tidy way.
Overall a stunning and functional laundry with clean modern lines has been achieved and most of all it is a pleasant space to work in.
