Renovation, Extension and Pool House in Moorooka

Our clients wanted to update their post war home with a modern renovation and pool house for their teenage family.

We assisted our clients with full planning and development, working closely with them and our designer to come up with a renovation that would serve their growing family and allow for great entertaining.

We undertook a complete renovation of the home, adding a new ensuite, main bathroom, kitchen and living and bedroom.  The house was to have a feel of luxury and easy open plan living.  The kitchen was to be the heart of the home and this is what you see as soon as you enter the home.  It is stunning.

For the entertaining aspect we built a new pool house complete with kitchenette and bathroom, enough space for a pool table, pinball machines and media entertainment.  The outdoor deck has a BBQ area complete with hardline gas bayonet to one end and the other with an oversized natural edge timber handrail to create the feel of a true outdoor bar area.  All with great viewing of the yard and the future pool.

There are many great features to this home, but just one of them is an intercom system between the house and pool house, it so easy to communicate with each other without the need for walking across the yard unless you need too!

 

We were recommended to Urban Scene Construction by friends and after seeing the work they did for them we knew we would get a quality product. Jason and Chantal are easy to talk to, really want to know what you are trying to achieve with your renovation and take to time to offer options. Chantal spent a lot of time helping us with selection of products and building materials, being a really good sounding board, and providing relevant and useful feedback. Not to mention keeping us abreast of expenditure and finances. We knew every step of the way what was being done and spent. Jason has a fantastic problem solving mind, identified possible issues and provided practical solutions. His suggestions were spot on, the standard of his workmanship is excellent and we now have a beautiful, liveable home, which we know will last.
