Double carport with rendered front wall and exposed concrete driveway

Carport and Front Entry Jindalee

Adding street appeal and functionality

Our  clients were looking to change the front facade of their house so it had a more modern aesthetic.  The idea was to provide a functional aspect as well as adding street  appeal.

The front of the property was sloped upwards to the house with only a single driveway and no carport or retaining walls. Part of the transformation was to remove a significant amount of dirt during the excavation process, this enabled us to create a base for the carport to sit down into the yard.

After creating a base we then retained the yard to the right hand side of the property adding a front block fence and lower fence at the entry.

Adding a double carport to suit the families need for undercover car parking, we included a panel lift door for security, finished the driveway in Geostone exposed concrete mix by Excel and  included colour bond fencing as a low maintenance privacy option.

The entry path and steps were finished with the feature tile "Magmarock" 600x300, a very subtle textured tile in light and dark greys.

The front fence and retaining walls were finished in a combination earthy Clancy wall cladding and smooth render. The gate another low maintenance feature to the inviting front entry.

Though the use of different materials and textures and lots of lighting this home now has the modern look the owners wanted as well as  the functionally they needed.
