Adding street appeal and functionality
Our clients were looking to change the front facade of their house so it had a more modern aesthetic. The idea was to provide a functional aspect to both upper and lower level, and provide an under cover element to the new front door as well as adding overall street appeal.
The front of the property was sloped up to the road with only a single driveway and no carport or retained areas. Part of the transformation was to remove a significant amount of dirt during the excavation process, this enabled us to create a undercroft for storage under the carport and add two new entries to the home.
We added timber decking and a stepped front entry, both with feature decking lights leading to a new entry platform, flyover roof and entry door to make for better access from the front boundary to the upper floor entry.
A second set of new stairs and balustrade were added to allow for access from the front boundary to the lower level. Adding the two new entries to the home allows the owners to access each level independently and with ease.
We added a double carport to suit the families need for undercover car parking, we included a panel lift door for security, and finished the driveway in a complimentary exposed concrete mix.
The use of aluminium gates and boundary fencing finish the overall look, this adds an inviting low maintenance modern feel to the homes entry.
Though the use of different materials and textures and lots of lighting this home now has the modern look the owners wanted as well as the functionally they needed.
